About Us

Jeannette Sousa

Jeannette was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Her love of the arts was evident at an early age as she passionately pursued and earned positions in prestigious children’s choirs and theaters. It was through Music Theater that Jeannette discovered her true love for dramatic arts. Her fervor in the subject has led her to study and train in many institutions across Canada and the United States including The New York Academy of Dramatic Arts and the University of Toronto.

Jeannette’s on-screen career began with roles on popular Canadian television series including Myth Quest, Relic Hunter, and Mutant X. She quickly garnered the industry’s attention and was voted by Playback Magazine as one of Canada’s top three up and coming actors. 

Since then, she has guest-starred in many notable American series including ABC’s Castle, CW’s Supernatural and CBS’s CSI: NY and NCIS: LA. She has starred opposite Academy Award winners Timothy Hutton and Amy Adams, as well as Golden Globe nominees Rose Byrne, Joaquim de Almeida and Patrick Wilson (to name a few). Jeannette’s extensive training has also enabled her to play a variety of diverse roles, including a series regular on CBC’s North/South and TBS’s Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns.

Jeannette’s love and appreciation for comedy led her to co-write and co-produce the cross-cultural romantic comedy: A Date With Miss Fortune, with her partner, Ryan Scott. The film garnered theatrical releases in several countries and can be seen on Amazon Prime.

Jeannette currently has a recurring guest star role on the ABC hit comedy:  American Housewife.

Throughout her career Jeannette has continued to study and hone her craft.  She is very excited to bring professional training to the Santa Clarita Valley!

Ryan Scott

Ryan’s passion for acting began with the role of “Tony” in a production of West Side Story at the  Alberta School for the Performing Arts. Ryan continued to study acting (as well as Film) at the prestigious York University in Toronto. After graduating University, Ryan continued to study at the Professional Actor’s Lab and began auditioning for film and television roles. 

 

Ryan’s on-screen career began with roles on notable television series such as Relic Hunter, Tracker and PSI: Factor. He was soon offered a series recurring role on the popular tv series Power Play. Since then, Ryan has worked on many Features and MOW’s including Renny Harlin’s Driven, Tom Green’s feature comedy Prankstar, Mary Higgin’s Clark novel adaptation All Around the Town and Jon Cassar’s Rough Air. Throughout his career Ryan has starred opposite Sylvester Stallone, Eric Roberts, Taye Diggs, Joaquim de Almeida and Tia Carrere to mention a few.

 

Ryan’s latest feature film, A Date with Miss Fortune, which he starred in, co-wrote and co-produced with Jeannette Sousa, sold to over 40 countries and can currently be seen on Amazon Prime. Ryan has not only worked as an actor but as a producer, writer and casting director. His experience in these fields has given him great insight on what the decision makers in tv and film are looking for! 

 

Ryan is currently working on a number of tv and film projects. His latest television pilot, a new medical/crime drama series titled “52" has just been selected as best new pilot script on the esteemed  2019 Lugnut List! His latest feature film, an untitled thriller, is shooting in Hawaii early 2021.

 

Ryan is excited to share his experience and passion for acting with young actors in the Santa Clarita Valley. Fostering creativity is what he loves most!
